ART EXPERIENCES is a separate class offered at the same time as Open Studio. Advance registration and payments is required.  Call to make arrangements to register. 330.332.1716. Minimum class size is 6. These classes can also be scheduled for your group of 6 or more! 

Clay Exploration, $40: Feb 28 and March 14

learn basic hand-building techniques to create pots, mugs, vases, boxes, and more using slabs and coils of clay. Details can be added by carving, stamping and by glazing. You must attend both dates to complete your project. Create your clay project day 1 and glaze day 2. There is a featured project, slab mugs, but you can also choose to make something else. This class can be repeated as often as desired as students can choose their own project and incorporate their own ideas.

Silk Painting, $30: Mar 7

Choose from 30 vibrant silk dyes to create your unique design. Demo is followed by a brief practice time using a small 12" square of silk. Final project is a silk scarf 11" x 60" that can be worn, or used as other decorative accessory: tie to hand bag, drape over furniture, cut into sections and frame for the wall, etc.

Fused Glass Sun Catcher, $30: Mar 21

Learn basics in cutting and fusing glass to create a colorful glass Sun Catcher. Class begins with demo for cutting glass, safety tips, and some design ideas. Your project will be fused and ready to pick up 7-10 days after class.
